I'm sure NewUser is likely typing his own post on this topic as we speak, but I just wanted to remind folks who may have missed out on tickets for this event last year so they can get their tickets before they sell out again. I worked the event last year and it is tremendous!
The tickets go on sale next month (August 20th) and the Festival will be held on October 14th, 2008.
Quick 2 tickets please, might need them after tonight.
Hmm, I am thinking y'all should start a party thread. This place needs some
fun and tumbling from the usual day to day business.
Yup I just hijacked your thread.....am outta here.
Maybe a City-Data / Beer Festival Meet-up could be worked out. I don't know .... with the way things have been going here lately it might get ugly .....

Yeah but beer could be the great unifier.
(trying to see that pilsner glass as half full)
Of course, a camera is required in case of hijinks and city wars..

You beat me to it NRG But I have a good excuse. . . . .
I was busy planning an afternoon of beer drinking for this Friday. I have 3 friends coming though RDU on their way to London to attend the Great British Beer Festival (tough life, huh?) and they have a 6 hour layover. I promised to pick them up at the airport and take them out for lunch and a few beers. I think that I decided on Tyler's in Durham.

Cool stuff. I've never been to Tyler's. Might have to put that on my list of places to check out. Thanks!
Is this better than the Koka Beer, Bourbon Festival? I went to that and was pretty disappointed.
Is it less crowded, will I be able to buy food and do they run out of beer 1/2 way through? It's a serious question cause I wanna go but I am a little gun shy after the Koka Beer, Bourbon, BBQ festival.

Is VIP worth it as well?
