Dont know if anyone out in RDU tonight is watching the HR derby on ESPN, but Josh Hamilton, who played at Athens High school has hit 28 home-runs, setting a new record. Congrats Josh!

If you don't know his story this is a good read. It's a year old and obviously he's an All Star this year.

That was great fun watching Josh last night! He looked like he was having fun, too. I'm not a big basefall fan but have always been interested in his story. Wonderful to see him doing well!

And apparently that was his old coach pitching? DH told me something about that. It was great fun to watch! So many kids involved catching the balls and hanging out with their dads between batting.

Yes, it was a former coach of his. Im not a big baseball fan, but like ragdolls4me stated, his story is interesting. And it's always cool to see a NC native do something like this

It is too bad he didn't win, though. But he definitely had some nice shots.

His older brother and my younger brother played football together, remember watching him run around at practice as a little kid. I am glad he turned his life around!
