We are going to visit family in Colorado in a few weeks. We would like to bring UNC or Duke shirts or sweatshirts for our niece and nephew. Can you tell me the best places to go. Is their a store that sells all kinds of NC college stuff? One stop shopping would be great.

I'm sure there are probably places in the airport or anywhere that you can get all things Carolina. For me, it was important to bring back a t-shirt that was from the exact location (well it was for the kids, anyway). So the Duke stuff was purchased AT Duke, the UNC stuff AT UNC, etc.

My oldest son's most coveted t-shirt is the NCState swimming/diving that he purchased during his college tour there.

My middle son covets his Duke Lacrosse t-shirt.

Probably some place like Walmart or Kmart will have t-shirts and sweatshirts for both, but my favorite stores for Carolina stuff (including great bumper stickers!) are The Shrunken Head and Johnny T-shirts. Both are on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, across from each other pretty much. If you are looking for Duke stuff I'm sure stores on 9th Street in Durham will have something similar, although why in the world anyone would want to give a Dooky gift is beyond me.

Are you close Crabtree Valley Mall?

There is a store there next to the Food Court that is filled with stuff from all of the Big Three (NC State, UNC, Duke).

That is where I would go to get a mix of stuff!

Dicks Sporting Goods also has college shirts /sweatshirts.
Prices are better their than the NC Store if you are
trying to find good prices.

Kohl's has a pretty good selection too. Prices are good sometimes you can get the stuff on sale and you can be a big hit by getting 2x as much NC college stuff for the same price as the other places mentioned above charge.

If you can get to the Soffe outlet in Smithfield next to JR, you can get some great deals on college stuff- not just NC schools.

Thanks for the replies. I went to Kohls and picked up 2 t -shirts. They didn't have any sweatshirts. I also went to Dick's, they only had NC state sweatshirts. We are going to go to Chapel Hill tomorrow and check out the stores there (maybe drag hubby to Sothern Season). Thanks again!
