I'm looking for the state's real estate website so I can start looking at homes in the Raleigh area. My state has a site called "Mibor" which breaks down all the mls listings by both county and city. Does NC have something like that? Thank you!

You need to go to a Realtor's website and search through their sites. There are no authentic URL's for MLS. Any statewide MLS in any state is forBrokers Only, not the general public.

Too bad. In our state, you can go to the Mibor site and look at all real estate for sale no matter which realtor has the listing. It's all listed by mls numbers. So, I guess I need to find a realtor somewhere in the Raleigh area. I was hoping to do some research on my own first since we're not sure exactly where we want to live.

You can try this- Does not have all the MLS listings but it is quite extensive.

You may want to check out Realtor.com. I've had many clients use it with good luck. I find that my company's website is easier but at least with Realtor.com, you can search all over the US.

You can also Google Raleigh. Just put in Raleigh,NC real estate and go through a couple realtor websites. Alot of them have searching tools. I've found Realtor.com is an okay tool, but may not always be updated on time. I found a lot I liked, but it never failed if I liked it, it had been sold weeks ago. So beware!

Thanks everyone. Through your responses I have been able to hookup with a realtor that has connected me with the Listingbook so I can view homes for sale in my areas of interest. Now we just have to figure out which side of town to live on! LOL!
