Seems so awesome, but at $85 I think I am being priced out.

I didn't grow up here so my interest is very limited but if that was my old stomping ground and I had fond memories I'd bite ...... maybe even for the VIP package

Same here. And it's for some good causes too.

I was so excited until I saw the price! Yikes! Someone take pics! It is a great organization to benefit but I belong to several groups already that participate in backpack buddies!

I've never been down there. It was a bit before my time. I'm tempted to go.

Was there a sandwich restaurant under there? I swear I remember going to some restaurant at Cameron Village with my mother, seems like it was underground, but I could be wrong.

At any rate, fascinating story, and I WAS tempted to go - but it doesn't look like there's much to see:

Call me a skeptic. This supposedly one night only ,last chance event is going to generate far too much money to never repeat itself. If they could get the necessary permits to do it once then I'd imagine it could more easily be done again. Give it a few months and we will here about "First Fridays" under the village.

Possibly Cafe Déjà Vu. Small venue...sandwiches and brew...played silent films.
