I am a college student from the Midwest that received an internship in Raleigh from May to December in 2015. I am looking for an apartment/sublease during this time and as I am beginning to research, I only find current listings, obviously.

I know absolutely nothing about the area but, as a college student, I am looking for a relatively cheap (<$600/month) place to live while I stay in Raleigh. I would be extremely grateful if anyone has any information that can help me during my search. Honestly, I don't even know how feasible it is to find an apartment available between May-December.

Thanks for your help!

I'll be working very close to the airport and hope to live closer to Raleigh. I'd prefer to live in a 2-3 bedroom apt with roommates. Depending on price, I suppose I'd consider a studio just for myself.

Brier Creek is near the airport, and they have literally thousands of apartments.

You won't be getting a studio for under $600...but with a 2-3 bedroom with roommates you can definitely spend less than that and have a nice place within reasonable distance to RTP and the airport.

Do amenities matter to you? Age? Specific location?
