My wife and I have been visiting this wine shop in Youngsville since moving to the area in May and we think it is great. It is called Tar Heel Wine Traders. Last weekend my wife went in for her favorite white wine and discovered that they were out. She asked if they had any more and Tracy told her that he would call her when he got more in. This past weekend we got a call and stopped by to find the two bottles in a bag waiting on the counter. They were also having a wine tasting with some snacks as well. It was great! We left with the two bottles Tracy held for us along with a few others. It is the cutest little place with a real friendly atmosphere. Check out their website at http://www.tarheelwinetraders.com. They are on Main Street in the town of Youngsville. There is also an Italian pastry place next store, which we haven't tried yet but plan to.

You're the man jkmeca11! Rep point coming your way! My wife and I enjoy the Seaboard Wine Warehouse in Downtown Raleigh, but I am always on the prowl for other places. Seaboard has free tastings every Saturday from 12-4. Yes, I am a cheapskate, but I do buy a bottle or two each time I go so I don't feel to guilty about drinking all the free wine.

The funny thing is I just google mapped the Tar Heel Wine Traders and it is located the same number of miles away from my house as Seaboard, but just in the opposite direction. Gives me a good excuse to check out Youngsville.

Thanks for the tip!
