Does anyone have some recommendations for good restaurants at Brier Creek please?

Thanks in advance.

Almost every restaurant there is kid friendly. Choose which food you want and go. You'll be fine. We've been to almost all of them at one point or another with our daughter.

LOL on the snake count and rainstorms

If you're interesting in Tex-Mex you should try Lime, it's a favorite in our family. Also, I'm a big time fan of Slice of New York pizza; it's a traditional pizza experience where you can either order full pies or individual slices (and they have quite an array of offerings). For some reason my kids really loved going there as young children (now they hate going anywhere we suggest, teenagers being teenagers and all).

Glad you are "enjoying" our weather!

If you wait 15 minutes, it will change!

The 95 degree days are my least favorite! Makes the 85 degree days more bearable!

I second it...the Brier Creek restaurants are pretty much family restaurants. Brasa may not work if your kids are younger and don't want to sit and enjoy their food for hours!

I agree with Vicki on taking a pass on Brasa with kids. I'd also add that the sushi at Hayashi-ya was dreadful in a recent lunch visit. Zakya Indian gets a thumbs up from me as well as my Indian neighbors. Tasu is reliably okay, sometimes quite good. Many people love the food and atmosphere at Trali Irish Pub, and it would be fine with kids.

If you like Mediterranean/Middle Eastern, Aladdin's Eatery and Tasty Kabob are both very good. The menu's are quite different, so choose whichever you prefer.

I think the food at Red Robin is mediocre and I've never been a fan of Chili's. I'm not a breakfast fan, but Bob Evans is DH's favorite for breakfast and I've been able to find several things on the lunch menu that I've enjoyed. Their cole slaw is outstanding (we get a takeout tub quite often). Avoid Carino's Italian and La Cucina Mexican like the plague.

Enjoy, and welcome to the 'hood.

I agree with this post. Added note, there's a place called Flame Kabob on the other side of Gleenwood and Brier Creek near the Carolina place that has good Kabobs.
Glad you are here. Keep us posted!

Don't forget the new San Jose Tacos & Tequila joint over by Flame kabob and Carolina Ale House. It is my favorite mexi spot in the triangle.

I thought lime wasn't great at all, and they made 2 take our orders in a row wrong for us.

agree with above

also: earth fare has a hot/cold bar and one of the nights of the week is a kids eat free - can't remember the night though.

for a quick lunch (rather than sit down) or take-out is which-wich - a great place to grab sandwiches made for each member of your family and throw them in the cooler to eat at the pool/park/lake.
