Ugh...look at how sprawled and congested it looks! Why would anyone want to live there with all the cookie-cutter houses?

I just noticed that lavendar victorian house recently (my children go to preschool on Academy St. so I'm down there all the time). It is such a beautiful house.

Snowpea, what a skilled photographer you are. It's made me "see" DT Cary in a different way. Thanks for sharing.

Great pics and nice "tour". This is my stomping grounds as well, so I'm glad people can see a different side of Cary.

All those photos and not one person walking. Cary sucks!

Thumbs up Fantastic!

Awesome Pics snowpea!

I am saving this thread for the next time some blockhead sarts ranting about how boring Cary is. Seems like some people don't take the time to really take a good look at all there is in the area.

Love those shots!

Default Litter, no pride of ownership, grafitti...

Just look at the pictures...what a dump! Run down buildings, litter, grafitti, crime, unmanicured landscaping and all that smog! Why did I ever move out here?

Default Love the Pics but was it evacuated

I found your pictures just lovely. Didn't look beige to me.

The sky was blue, weather looked beautiful, but where are the people. It looks like it was evacuated, not even cars on the street. Found that interesting.

Outside of that as I stated I found the pictures wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing.

The last time I visited Cary was in April of 1995. I was driving to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Greensboro and stopped in Cary to eat.

So much growth but I feel it has retained a great sense of beauty.

Linda
