Hey all,
I am looking for a real free clinic/dental office in Triangle area. So far, I have found clinics with sliding fee scales based on income and they require a long waiting period for eligibility/application.
My parents are visiting me, they are uninsured, no income at all. What they need is just a simple refill of the medication they take.
So if anybody know any kinds of real free clinic or know a solution for my situation, please let me know.
Thanks.
To be honest, any free clinic is going to take you through a lengthy verification process, just like getting SSI, Disability, Food Stamps or any other aid to those in need. The fact that there is help available is a good thing.

Thx. I am not sure if they qualify for medicaid. They are not US citizen.

Now it makes more sense. They aren't citizens and most of our programs that aid low income residents require extensive proof of identity (government issued), income, address, etc. That is definitely an issue. Perhaps the OP can contact someone at their local health department and speak to someone who may be able to make a referral.
Here's another thought, have you ever looked into an online pharmacy? There are many people who order their drugs from Canada and other countries. Maybe you'll have to do some googling to find out the best (legal) way to do that.
