Moxie Pest Control was canvassing our neighborhood yesterday. They
offer treatment using chrysthanthemum (sp?) petals, non-toxic
to humans and pets. I've never heard of them. Any experiences? Thanks.

We seem to be getting millipedes in the basement. Is
that common after a rain?

They're fairly well-known for their scams. You can google.

Plenty of good local pest control companies. I recommend Swift Creek, which was recommended here by some area natives.

Please slam the door on them. I also recommend Swift Creek or Custom Termite and Pest. You can also visit Do It Yourself Pest Control Products and handle any of those issues yourself for a lot less money.

Thanks. They quoted several neighbors who have contracts with them, but I am afraid
I don't recognize all the names. Thank you for your help.

I am not sure exactly what those places can do that you can't do for yourself with a hose and some chemicals from the home improvement store. Only time I have called a pest place for for terminate inspections and for a yellow jacket nest.

Not sure what scams people are talking about, but we've used Moxie for 2 years now, and have never had a problem with them. They come every 3 months (I believe that's what it is), and they show up the next day if you need them.

We used a national company before we switched to Moxie, and Moxie does just as good of a job, plus they are cheaper.

if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Champion Pest is excellent - good local small business who cares about their customers and does a great job. Support your local entrepreneurs!

Triangle pest Control is great! Stay away from Terminix they have a revolving door with the salesman and the tech. You never know what your getting with them.

Having been under the house with just about all of them, Custom and Swift Creek would be my preference. Stay away from Orkin or Terminex!
