Our surgeon practices at both NC Specialty Hospital
and Rex. If time for travel does not matter, which would you
recommend for total knee replacement. Thank you.

Rex. If things go bad (Shouldn't, but you always prepare for the worst) you are at a much larger hospital and don't have to be put in an ambulance to Durham Regional.

Forgive my ignorance, but we're newbies. What is REX?

Rex Hospital is on Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh. It is part
of the UNC system now.

In all deference to Rex, there's a knee surgeon by the last name of Bolognesi at Duke who is exceptional, as well. A passionate doctor, too.

An expert and a passion for making patients well.

We do dozens of joint replacement procedures every week at Rex. Our joint teams are the best I have ever worked with in an operating room.

Hope you have a speedy recovery! Who is your surgeon?
