I have some pieces of antique furniture that I would like to have appraised and need someone to come to my home to look at them. It seems when I search online, the results are usually people who have a store and are looking for items to resell, and that's not what I'm looking for.
What I'd like to find is someone who can tell me more about the pieces, in terms of age and value. Kind of like the Antiques Roadshow people.
Does anyone know of anyone who will do this at my home? And, is there a certification of some kind that I should look for? I've never done this.
