Well since Feb of last year I’ve been having issues with my sinuses. This began occurring suddenly and was strange since I almost never get sick. I began going to my primary care physician whom continued to write it off as a virus or cold. Over the past few months I began going to an ENT (Ear Nose Throat Specialist) in Cary after it continued to reoccur every few months. He prescribed some strong antibiotics and oral steroids. I got better and then a month later my stuffy nose, aches and pains where back. After a CT Scan, he is recommending balloon sinus surgery and tonsillectomy since my tonsils are enlarged. I wanted to get a second opinion and looking for recommendations of the best ENT in the area? I think my doctor is good just rather be safe before choosing surgery.
