Quite a strong showing for Durham and the DPAC, especially when you consider the population of Durham, or even the Triangle, as compared to the top 3.

1 - Radio City Music Hall, New York, NY
2 - Coliseum Theater at Ceasars Palace, Las Vegas, NV
3 - Fox Theater, Atlanta, GA
4 - Durham Performing Arts Center, Durham, NC

DPAC is a superb venue. Just watch out for the seats on the far ends of the rows down front. You can't see the whole stage from them.

I love the DPAC, but my only complaint is the bathrooms. There is not one on every level, and when we went to see the rockettes they had a delay because of some lighting issues. After 20 minutes, I decided to go to the bathroom and the ushers told me that if the show started I would not be able to come back in until intermission. I managed to go and come back from the bathroom (which was on the floor below) before the show started, but a friend of mine was not so lucky! he missed the first half because he didn't return in time.

Amazing! I was just telling my friend about how the DPAC beasts Raleigh as far as shows are concerned.

Way to go, Durham! I agree with JQPublic--DPAC beats out Raleigh for seeing shows.
