They're called Skillet, not skittel. Too funny.
It is a Christian based concert tour. They were at RBC Saturday night. It is now the biggest tour in the world. They hit Charlotte Sunday night and then off to Fla starting Tuesday. They do come back to Greensboro February 4. Everything from hard rock to some nice "more contemporary" songs.
I can't imagine anyone would think it was just a "money making scam". $10 per person to see 10 bands, an illusionist, and a speaker? Not much room for money making scammin'.
As for the end with Skillet. I've seen ZZ Top, Van Halen, and KISS. I'd put that Skillet show up against any of them when it comes to putting on a show. I was very impressed.
If anyone wants, google "winter jam 2012 raleigh" for some videos. Most people's videos have terrible sound because the music was so loud. But you can see some of the show.
I for one loved it.
