Even if you are not "drinkers" (I am not), you should go to the wild turkey bar a bit early for a cocktail (or soft drink), and just for the experience.
Not knowing your taste, It's hard to say what to order. They are known for steaks, chateau briond (sp?) and I think their prime rib, but you can also ask the server what is good. The food is good, but the service is what is usually VERY special. Also, they are home to one of the best wine lists on the east coast.
Portions are HUGE, but if you can, save room for desert. Their deserts are simple, yet really excellent!
NOTE: I beleive the Chateau is for two people... Not sure, but if you are going that way, you may want to line up a "partner in crime"
^Wrong. You can get it for one. Looked at the menue on the website. (I'd probably go with the Bone-in Prime Rib...)
If you have time and see this before you go, call and ask for "Johnny's" section. He's a great waiter and also knows the wines very well.
One thing (of many) the Barn is famous for is--don't laugh--their cheese and crackers. Resist the temptation to fill up on them before you even order! But any steak on the menu should be wonderful.

maybe that was my problem. The times i went to the angus barn it was all downhill after the cheeses and crackers. in my opinion not worth the price.
I get the Cajun Ribeye when I go. I agree on cocktails in the lounge before you sit down for dinner.
