I was downtown on Friday for First Friday and happened to walk by the new mural (made up of several panels) displayed on the parking garage on the corner of Davie and McDowell Street. The Mural was created by students from the NC State College of Design. It is very cool and a great addition to the landscape in downtown.

These murals just brighten the area they are in. We particularly love the ones like this that are done by local college artists.
There were several in Detroit that were done done by Wyland that were beautiful. But since they faced he new ballpark, they were COVERED with commercial advertisement...
It would be great to see more artists work throughout Raleigh.
