Surround Sound Install (Raleigh: closing, prices, suite)

Does anyone know of a tech that freelance as an installer of in-wall and in-ceiling speaker systems for surround sound? I would like some help doing something like that but do not want to use Geek Squad or one of those outfits as they charge an arm and a leg.

I know this is not what you are looking for but HHGregg has installation packages, I believe, starting from $99 when last checked. They would come and evaluate for a charge but that charge gets included in the package price if you go with their service. I did not use their service but know that they do it

most electrician can help you fish your wires for u. Some will install the speakers for u.

Lowes sells a decent amount of low voltage sound system items with decent install guides if you want to try it your self. It is relatively easy....the hard part (and maybe that is why you are seeking help) is running the wires where you want them without destroying a lot of sheetrock.

Below is the contact info for the guy we used, who was referred to us by our builder. He did a great job, arrived on time, and his prices were excellent. He wired our family room and bonus room for surround sound prior to our closing. Then we had him come back after we moved in and we had him mount a flat screen and install the surround sound in our family room (in the ceiling) and hook up our free standing surround sound system in the bonus room (including wall mounting and running the wires).
