Can anyone recommend a fun loving, safe, trustworthy PS or PK in the Hillsborough Area? I saw some in CH on the web and they were so expensive, are all Early Education programs $1000.00 or more a month? Thanks.

As you said you had looked in Chapel hill, I'll throw out that we're extremely happy with the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center. Preschool ranges from $400-950/month, dependent upon your income. Rather than a waitlist, there is a lottery for entry.

Thank you, I'll look into that one as well. Why are the PS so expensive in NC?

Montessori Farm Life School in Hillsborough, Montessori Farm School in Orange County, NC (broken link), sounds quite good. I was impressed with my talk with the director and another parent recommended the school to me.
