So I get free time warner basic and dial up at my apartment and can upgrade if I choose.
I did a little research, and I am torn between TW and AT&T.
Does anyone have any input on them? AT&T seems to have a better bundle price, and I definitly need fast wifi. But how is their customer service? How is TW's customer service?
I've had both and I am counting the months until I can go back to AT&T
I've had both, and I would STRONGLY suggest you go with AT&T. I could go on a rant about all the problems I've had with Time Warner, but I won't go into all the issues I've had with tech support.
I would run screaming like my hair was on fire away from Time Warner.
Actually, I've got another 8 months to go in my Time Warner contract (almost like a prison sentence). I am absolutely giddy about the prospect of leaving them and going with AT&T.

thanks for the input. I thought at&ts prices were great, as compared to comcast in the DC area. Is there anything wrong with their service? customer service?
The only thing that scares me about AT&T is that you're locked into a contract with a termination clause (at least that's how it was when I last researched). Yeah TW's customer service sucks and their prices are high, but I'm not "locked in".
Only if you lock-in your package-u can do month to month/a la carte service. I am locked in with Direct tv for two years since I thought it would be a good idea to get the NFL package-that is looking like a smart idea
maybe I will do the a la carte thing. I just need faster than dial up internet and on demand work outs.
