Hello everyone!

I used to play soccer since I was young and even played college. I am now 29 and have started playing in a couple of rec leauges, one in Creedmor and one in Greensboro. I live in Rougemont (Northern Durham) and are looking for a fall leauge to play in. Perhaps in a Open A or B, or maybe just rec again. What all is out there that is convienant to Durham or atleast I85 or 15-501. I work in Greensboro but the YMCA leauge ends early August. I also have a 40+ couple that would like to play in coed rec if possible.

I know TASL plays, but some of their games start to late for me, as I am a father or two and work usually long hours. Does Durham Park and Rec have a leauge?

Thank you!

I don't think Durham Parks and Rec has had a league for a few years. Most of the guys went over and played in CHAC which is based in Chapel Hill. I understand its fairly competitive so might be a good fit for you.

A less competitive league is the Rainbow Wisely league. They are also Chapel Hill based.

As for your 40+ couple friends -- Rainbow has a co-ed over 40 division called Wiser. And then there is TASL. For women only Durham has a 30+ women's league run by Parks & Rec.

Sorry I don't have links for all those leagues available but if you search you should find them easily.
