those are 5 things I don't need to know about public radio. I do listen to it sometimes in the car because they have some interesting subjects from time to time, but they are so slanted I just want to scream at the radio. It is probably a good thing they can't hear me screaming. I would end up behind bars for some of he names I call the hosts. Well not really. I find public TV the same but do watch it from time to time, especially Friday night when they review what has happened in the week in our state. The panel is to the left of left and yet it is worth watching. One thing I enjoy on public radio or TV is the food shows, but I often forget about them.
I didn’t know there was so much advertising as WNCW, Spindale, NC, a college, not for profit radio station puts out, shame on them. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/WNCW
NPR moved their headquarters into a very luxurious new Washington D.C. office building, several years ago, with lots of frills, and were criticized by The Washington Post for their extravagance, when they live off of listener donations.
