Route 75 is really not that bad. You're not driving next to any steep drop-offs and it's quite scenic.
Just stay in the right lane and slow down a little and you'll be fine.

If you go straight down to Florida, there are no mountains. Stay on Interstate 75. The highest hills you'll encounter are in Tennessee and they are scenic, long rolling hills. We've done the drive from Ontario many times.

If you really don't want any, take I-20 west to Dallas, north on I-35. Longer trip, but VERRRY flat.
