We are looking to rent a home for the months of January and February 2016 in the Port Charlotte area. The home does not have to have a pool or be on water. Just looking to get away from the cold winters up north. If you have a property could you please private message me.

Thanks,

Peter D.

Have you searched on VRBO.com? That's how we started renting in Rotonda and then eventually bought a home there.

You might want to consider a seasonal rental at one of the mfg home developments in the area. Www.mhvillage.com has listings. These are very nice developments as a rule. Might be an option for you.

Most people book a year in advance and seasonal rentals are hard to find. I would recommend the Vacation Rent by Owner site too and contact several rental property management companies to get your name put on their list. Then if something does become available they can contact you.
