I am a novice skier, no mogels, no jumps and no cross country. I bought these in 2009 at the resorts last of the season sale. These are wonderful skis but, the first day out in 2010 I was worried. With new skis I thought the trip would consist of spills and wipe outs just trying to get used to the skis. If a ski can be user friendly this one is. I was comfortable with my edges by the end of the first day and by the end of the week I was skiing black runs (I've never been able to do that before). I know it sounds silly; I was confident with my First Luv skis. I have rented K2's and they were OK, these are mine and they are fantastic.
