The Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner is an easy to operate vacuum that maintains Dyson's reputation as a leader in vacuum cleaners. This vacuum features cyclonic acton so there is no loss of suction. The vacuum is designed to work in homes with pets, and with a large German Shepher and a cat, our household can attest to its effectiveness. The vacuum also features a HEPA filter and a telescopic wand with attachments.
The vacuum is designed to work on carpet, furniture, hardwood floors, tile and curtains. I have used it on all of these surfaces in my house and it is equally effective on each. The features I like best about the vacuum are its great suction power, the fact that it is lightweight, the rotating ball that enables you to maneuver under and around furniture with ease and the bagless HEPA filter.
Unfortunately, the canister fills quickly and the wand has a limited reach. The power cord also seems shower than a lot of other vacuums, even ones that I have owned that were much less expensive. If I were to improve something about the vacuum, I would make the canister bigger and lengthen the power cord. This would make it easier to vacuum larger areas without having to switch power outlets and the larger canister would enable longer periods of vacuuming without emptying. A larger canister would increase the size, one of the benefits to this model Dyson.
