This Miele washer begins with a honeycomb interior to maximize cleaning ability and reduce the wear of your clothes. It is relatively spacious enabling you to fit more clothes into one load than you would with, say, a top load washer. When preparing to start your laundry cycle you must first adjust the settings. This is done with the touchtronic technology. You scroll through the well lit options with a knob located directly next to the screen. You are then free to select materials from silks to denim and the Miele machine will care for them accordingly. You can even wash most clothes in this machine that you would otherwise dry clean. Once the cycle has started the time is displayed on the screen and counts down until the end of the cycle.
This smart machine will also monitor all of your water lines connected to your machine. If a problem is detected that will affect your washing machine, it will notify you on the display screen. This machine is also great for anyone who has kids. It is complete with a heavy soil setting as well as a child lock feature. Other options are the buzzer, the program sequence lights and the six temperature options.
The only con I have found with this machine is that the knob can be a pain to work. You can "mis-scroll" easily and when you push the center of the knob to select is can also accidentally scroll over again and choose something else. I expect this simply takes some getting used to and can be fixed. Aside from the lack of control with the knob, the listed price is rather high at over $2300. The machine does come with a one year warranty. If anything happens to your machine, someone will come to you to fix it. If your machine can't be fixed, it will be replaced. Users have commended the service provided. The Miele washing machine does so a great job with laundry. When taking into account minor nuisances and high prices, this machine receives four out of five stars.
