Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The 2007 Toyota Premio T240 is a third generation medium sized Sedan which comes in 1.5, 1.8 and 2.o Petrol engines with the first generation entering the market in 1996 -2002 period. The first generation of this car was known as Corona but the brand was dropped soon thereafter. The 2007 model is a great improvement of its predecessor because it comes with stylish curves on the exterior which gives it ample space on the inside. The Corona had a European version known as Avensis T220 which the Japanese created specifically for European conditions.

The Toyota Premio T240 has the capacity of 5 passengers and has a chic lookout whose front has a large headlight that is arranged diagonally making its front view such a wonder to behold. The driver's area is spacious with the dashboard and the entire operating system with a number of switches so close to the driver's hand's seat making control quite easy. This is such a great improvement from the previous versions with an instrument panel that is 40 mm longer than the last model. The T240's rear seat is made in such a way that it reclines to seven stages making it flexible enough to create a wider luggage loading space.

The Toyota Premio T240's engine variations are 2ZR-FE variety as well as 1NZ-FE type with a capacity of 1.8L and 1.5L respectively. It has a both a VVT-i valve timing mechanism and a super -CVT-i which is available in both cars. The T 240 features an ABS electronically controlled braking distribution and a restraining side and curtain airbag option. With a higher wheelbase that 2700mm and overall length of 4600mm the 2007 Toyota Premio stands at an overall height of 1475mm and is a force to reckon with. The curb weight 1220 kg with a body that is of the latest standard that has been loved by customers worldwide.
