I get it: What a great year for the Giants! After the loss to the Redskins, if someone has said, this is the team that is going to win the SB, no one would have believed that!
Ive watched the SB 4 times now since Sunday! Still in SHOCK that our NYG WON IT ALL. After the 4 game swoon then the loss to Wash, I packed it in. This team is DANGEROUS when it reaches the post-season. Like the NY Yankees, I've now learned, NEVER count out the GMEN!!!
So I heard the Giants became the first franchise to win a SB on the four major TV Networks (CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox). If that is true, that is pretty cool...but ultimately, I guess it doesnt mean much other than the franchise has won at least four SBs, and there are only a handful that have done that!
Looking at the list of SB Winners, appearances certainly aren't a given and 4 teams have never been there, even more of a shock (to me), two teams have gone 4 times and never won! How does that happen???
Yep, 4 wins a very good thing! Enjoy and of course, now the "can they repeat" talk starts!
Last August Giants were 100-1 to win the SB, by the time they reached Indy they were 3-1. . .it is very difficult to win one SB and even more so to repeat, Giants Fans can only dream, today they are 8-1 favorites and somehow I don't like those odds, lol, as they seem to play best and thrive under improbable circumstances, go figure.
I only hope Eli has another great season because as we witnessed this season, the best teams can be knocked out.
Today is the first Sunday without football
