Gretchen B and all members in Prescott/Prescott Valley area, you're in my thoughts. I hope all of you are safe. The fire was on Fox 10 news. Let's hope we have an early monsoon season.

I just heard on the evening news that they thought it was pretty much contained. It only took out a shed as far as I know. Thanks for the thoughts.

Thank you, zonababe. They brought in tankers and hot shot crews and really hit the fire head on. It was in the Walker area (south of the Costco), and I guess that's an area where the fire crews practice, so they were very familiar with the area and that helped, too.

Yes, an early monsoon season would be very welcome. At this point, though, we've been so very dry, I'm hoping that we get a monsoon season. Wasn't it in 2002 when there wasn't much of one?
