I would like feedback from you all out there on school vouchers in Oregon. We have decided to go out west even though the best states to raise one's kids are N.H., Vt. and Maine. I am understanding more about people reading these forums ! I use my daughter's school as an exmple hear near Chicago. It receives an 8 rating per Great Schools but it dropped from a 10. It is segregated in ways as the parents have little contact with the teachers, very few speak with one another and we are only givin 15 mins. to interact with the teacher per semester. The Polish talk to one another, the terrorists dressers stay over there, and when I ask the elected rep. about school money for art and music that weree cut in 2 school tax increases , he says nothing ! The local populace around us will spend money on tatoos , beer, and world wrestling before the school. These "freedom flag waivers" make me sick ! My research shows L.O. or West Linn are up to my standards. I would like more info on the 2 please ! thanks Mike.

It takes every nanogram of restraint I possess to keep from flaming your eyebrows off, Mike. I suspect, though that you are beyond hope with respect to your ingrained racism and xenophobia. I just hope you aren't poisoning your daughters outlook with your bile. If her generation are to have any chance it will be by pulling together as a world to undo that damage that our generation has done with all our selfishness and desire to get everything for me to make sure that no one else gets any.

Take it easy Lesisestrum, Mike has made quite a few posts along these lines. He is either a troll, a nutjob or is a very bitter little man. He's not worth getting your blood pressure raised over. Maybe if we shake a can of pennies at him he will go away.
