Hi all,

I'm in town for tonight in business and I was wondering if any of you could give me a couple of good beer store names where I could check out an extensive amount of local brews.

Beer store? Hmm... New Seasons and Whole Foods both have extensive collections of local beers.

But... you might be better off visiting a brew pub or six. There are that many within walking distance in the Pearl, and about 40 more spread out across the city.

The last time I was in Zupan's on Belmont, there was a huge beer selection. I can't speak of the other locations but check them out. Enjoy your stay!

You want Belmont Station. That's the place to go.

Belmont Station is the best, but in reality, just about every place in Portland carries good beer.

Rogue in the Pearl is a good choice too, very tasty beer, though my favorite beer there isn't actually a Rogue beer, it is a beer from Eugene that they carry. The only thing I don't like about Rogue in the Pearl is the service is usually poor, rarely have I gotten good service there, but the beer has always been good....and Rogue Rum is super tasty.

I realize that this is too late for the OP, but may help others in the future:

John's Market Kegs, Bottled Beer and Wine in Multnomah Village is the best store on the west side.
