A roadster by itself cannot be a chick car but then came Porsche with it's first affordable roadster since 1956. However if one was to drive a Porsche roadster from 1953-1956 he would not be accused of driving a woman's car.

cars do not have a sexual tendency...get over it

the only way a car is a chick car is if it is pink with purple accents and glitter all over it

Eh... the base Boxster... can be considered a chick car, because you see a lot of women driving them. Men too, but less frequently. Men usually opt for the Boxster S, which is a whole different animal entirely. Those cars have an upgraded engine, suspension, brakes, etc, and are some of the best handling cars on the planet. I know tons of men who have them as sunny weather/track day cars.

So, if you notice a few women driving their husband's crew cab Silverado from the ranch into the mall, it becomes a Chick Truck"? Most of the girls I went to middle school with could drive their dad's John Deere when hey were 12, so John Deere is a Chick Tractor?

This is not Saudi Arabia, women drive here. Get over it.

That's the thing though, it's not a "few" women. If women want a Porsche convertible, they go with the base Boxster. If a man wants one, he either gets the Boxster S or 911 Cab.

It's just like the latest generation of the VW Beetle. I can honestly say I've NEVER seen a man driving one, but know several women who bought them, and that's all I see driving them.

i see you have very little experience in the sports car world. go to a few events/rallies and tell me women dont drive beasts, because they most certainly do.

Men earn higher wages (even if it's the same job), which they are very proud of and jealously protect, so they will display a model with a need to show off more wealth. Also, men don't understand the subtlety of the power between their legs, so have to compensate with a car with more CCs. If this thread is about the difference between men and women, there you go.
