How about some fire and brimstone bible verses by abortion clinics that have been bombed?

Or some bible passages about homosexuality/ story of soddom and gemorrah at a Matthew Sheppard memorial?

Oh wait, but it's fine to have a mosque at ground zero.

Those things ARE allowed, and actually do take place regularly. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Really, the Matthew shephard memorial has apermanent building built next to it praising the story of soddom and gemorrah, rather than having some guy from KS holding up signs?

GIVE ME A BREAK.

Those that think we need to understand the radical Islamists clearly don't. Throughout history, mosques have been built as signs of power and conquest. If you think this effort is mere coincidence, you're missing the point. We may win the PR battle with those already on our side, but the supporters of radical Islam will see it as victory.

They especially like to build them on top of other people's holy cites, like in Jerusalem, on the Temple mount, or in Instanbul, that grand mosque used to be a byazantine church.

Also, I don't see how any extremist is going to look at this and think "oh wow, they are so tolerant, gee, I changed my mind"

Remember, these are the people that get ENCOURAGED to be bombers/terrorists by watching beheading videos.. Remember, they record those to RECRUIT. THis mosque is only going to be a sign of weakness which will encourage them.

That's your argument? That since Saudi Arabia doesn't have freedom of religion, that we shouldn't either? That we should be like them?

Talk about the terrorists winning...sounds like you are ready to surrender.

Not allowing a mosque at ground zero is not denying religious freedom. There are many, many mosques in NYC, muslims are free to pray wherever they want.

Would you allow an LGBT community center next to this mosque? Or would you law a mohammed cartoon drawing center next to this mosque, or do you only care about the first amendment rights of muslims?

Ah, there we go. Now it's a "liberal' thing.

So much for any credibility you might have had on this issue.

Because these situations are all the same?

Newsflash, buddy. We are not at war with Islam per se.

THAT'S WHAT THEY SAY IN THEIR PROPAGANDA - WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?
