And put 3.4 Million people back to work in the first quarter of 2010!

News Headlines (http://www.cnbc.com/id/37343761 - broken link)

Quote:
The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, as the stimulus package is formally known, lowered the unemployment rate by between 0.8 percentage point and 1.9 percentage points in the first quarter of 2010, CBO estimated. That translates to somewhere between 1.4 million and 3.4 million jobs, CBO said.

The massive U.S. stimulus package put up to 3.4 million people to work and boosted GDP by up to 4.6 percent in the first three months of 2010, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said on Tuesday.

A spread of 2 million jobs? That's best that CBO can do in defining effectiveness? Well crap. I thought the CBO was an entity actually worth paying attention to! With those numbers you either move mountains or climb mole hills. That's a huge difference! Too bad we can't decipher.

Complete hogwash. Who really believes that 3-4 million jobs have been created? Is that including the 8 million we have lost?

The 3-4 million is a figure obama needs in order to convince the dumbbells of the population that his Failed Stimulus has actually worked.

GDP grew by only 3.2% in the first three months of 2010. The CBO's "estimates" are higher than the actual number posted by the BEA. Fail.

Its about as much spin as the whole theory of "saved and created" jobs. Its bs. Unemployment is still at nearly 10 and even the administration of your Messiah has said that we should get use to that level.....that was after saying unemployment wouldnt go above 8 percent during the Porkulus garbage last year.

You go ahead and keep doing your best to spin things to some sort of positive for Barry. It isnt fooling everyone anymore. The only people still supporting Obama are the progressives/liberals and the "cool" crowd that listens to Hollywood and spends most of their time watching Dancing with the "stars" and reading celebrity gossip crap.

And creates yet another short and long-term tax burden on the privileged few Americans that still have jobs. Ah, socialist dreaming....
