I pray she has. But I am doubtful. I live in the 6th district and this is big time pro-life Roman Catholic country. She will be tough to beat. People are sick of her grandstanding and ignorant soundbites all over the news. Many feel she's turned into a media *****, she's not doing her job, and she has missed many votes. But still...
This is why she will lose:
Bachmann: 'Wean Everybody Off' Social Security And Medicare!
Quote:
Bachmann spoke this past weekend at the right-wing Constitutional Coalition in St. Louis, Missouri, and put forth her plan. "So, what you have to do, is keep faith with the people that are already in the system, that don't have any other options, we have to keep faith with them. But basically what we have to do is wean everybody else off," said Bachmann. "And wean everybody off because we have to take those unfunded net liabilities off our bank sheet, we can't do it. So we just have to be straight with people. So basically, whoever our nominee is, is going to have to have a Glenn Beck chalkboard and explain to everybody this is the way it is."

That is one issue of interest to "tea partiers" (there is no "Tea Party").
Limited government is not "extreme" either. That was what was spelled out in the Constitution.
What is "extreme" is the socialist agenda being shoved down our throats by this administration, and the Democrats in Congress.
This is what has to be brrought under control. That is not "extreme". It is what has to be done to preserve liberty.
If y'all really cared so much about "the Constitution", you'd abide by it, especially the part about the 12th Amendment and Presidential elections (BTW in case you've forgotten, y'all lost that one).
So until you actually start getting political "representation" and winning some elections, then "Teabaggers" will remain just another "special interest group", albeit a rather minor, shrill and annoying one.

Not going to happen as there simply aren't enough swing districts up for vote. Now, there are a bunch of red districts the Dems captured in 2006 & 2008 which I don't think they can hold on to so the Dems' majorities will get slightly smaller but if you think either house will switch hands then you haven't looked at the actual district numbers.

There really is no point in the US spending more then the next 60 countries combined especially since 3/4ths of those 60 countries are allies. I take that back, there is a point, but Congressmen bribing campaign donors by giving them bloated federal no bid contracts isn't a good reason. I thought you were supposed to be a fiscal conservative?
