Anybody here watching the coverage of the Tax Day Rally on C-SPAN? I am trying to understand where these "Tea Party" people stand for and what they really want and I don't find anything in common with these people.

I am not going to criticize them for believing in what they believe in but in terms of values, I have absolutely NOTHING in common with these people. I live in Iowa, right in the Heartland and if being part of the Tea Party means being a "real American", I must be a foreigner LOL.

There were only 3,500 of them in DC. If that's all they can do they are finished.
I just wish the Press would get over them and Palin

How many of them were at other sites that day? Just wondering and I really wonder where you got your number.

There was a virtual march also for people that could not get to a tax protest. 275,114 people signed up. Can you just imagine how many more there are that did not even know of this option. The Tea Party is growing and the left can try to discount it all they want, to their political peril. Their ignorance and denial will work in our favor.
