No, all of the priests that molested children were pedophiles. The Roman Catholic Church, as an institution, requires celibacy of their priests and nuns. This is not a natural state for adult humans. As a profession, the priesthood in particular, attracts many individuals that have proclivities to begin with and, cultivates an atmosphere rife with intimacy issues. (IMO)
What a freaking easy out for the Catholic Church, Do not believe that most have been Gay. They preach about this and that, and Sins, well what they have done in the past protecting the very Preists, who have done those terrible deeds, and protected them, is this not a Sin. Double Standard seems to go with the Catholic Church.
