SPOKANE -- While the Hutaree militia men claim they were preparing for the end of days and the coming of the Anti-Christ, the organizer of a year-old North Idaho militia group is trying to prove not all militiamen are dangerous.

They’re not trained police officers and they’re not active duty soldiers. They’re the 21st Battalion of North Idaho’s Light Foot Militia, a group created a year ago that claims to have more than 100 people in its ranks.
