Does it bother you that many seem to blindly follow their political party and mindlessly cheer their agenda like it were a sports team? This definitely occurs on both sides. Isn't there a need for a higher level of critical thought beyond "We're going to be socialists" or "Bush lied people died"? It seems to me blindly following a political party without considering the long terms policy implications is silly...
Are we really this dumb? Look at the HCR rhetoric. "America will end" Asinine platitudes invented by media and political relations firms to mobilize idiots. And it words every time!
Obama watched the vote in the White House's Roosevelt Room with Vice President Joe Biden and dozens of aides, exchanged high fives with Rahm Emanuel, his chief of staff, and then telephoned Pelosi with congratulations.
This is all about political victories. They could care less what the costs involved are.
And yes it happens on both sides of the aisle.

The glee with which each party celebrates it's victories is childish and smarmy, and indicates the type of frat boys and girls we have to choose from in each election. The vast sums of money involved and lives affected have become meaningless to them.
