Are there others that think the term Obamacare is actually a positive connotation? For me, it's tough to put a negative spin on the word "care."

Republicans seem to do a great job with messaging, but throwing the term Obamacare around all day seems like a huge miss.

The more I hear Obamacare, the more I associate Obama with caring about health insurance reform.

Labels really mean nothing. Just like "Healthcare Bill" means nothing. It does not address actual health services, just insurance provisions.

It is such a world of "feelings" over reality for libs.

I tend to agree with you. That is a very good way to look at it.

Obama cares nothing about reform, he only cares about power. He is trying hard to make this a socialist nation, and the blind believe his lies and promote his horrible ideas. He is on track to bankrupt the nation. All he is doing is taking money from the haves, and giving it to the have-nots. That is Socialism, just as he and his crooked cronies ave been preaching for many years..

Sure..let them vote it in. Some taxes start immediately on signature while others start right after 12/31/2010. Then you'll have 4 years to think about it while you pay these taxes.

The term 'Obamacare' is fine with me. I think in time it will be seen as one of the worst, most inefficient, most poorly crafted and expensive pieces of legislation to hit the books. No Child Left Behind will look brilliant compared to this fiasco. Leave his name on it for all time.

In American politics, labels are extremely important. As a conservative, you should know this.

This is absolutely right. People, read it again!

How many hundreds of billions will be taken from the pockets of the American people (who are already in economic crisis) and sent to Washington over the 4 years before ANY potential benefits kick in? Do you think they'll save and put it towards health care costs? Right: just like they hiked Social Security taxes in the early 1980s to create a "Social Security Trust Fund." Whoops! Spent all that cash to fund ongoing government overspending. And borrowed 1,000 times more from China and spent that too.

Right, we can trust Washington to use those EXTRA hundreds of billions for a good cause. They use the $1 trillion a year they already suck out of the economy SO VERY WISELY.
