So when Limbaugh said "I'm leaving the country" he didn't mean he would leave the US. He meant he would leave another country, like Canada, or Africa.

I don't think he's a racist. But, I do think that he's a sensationalistic and shrill commentator who panders to the worst instincts of his listeners.
Even if he didn't mean he would move to Costa Rica permanently, why would he go to another country that has nationalized health care for medical treatment?

I don't like Rush Limbaugh either but I wish people wouldn't present half truths. Rush didn't say he was permanently leaving the country to reside in Costa Rica. He impled he would leave for a country like Costa Rica when seeking medical treatment. The point still stands that Rush was ignorant about Costa Rica's status as country that provides universal health care.
It is amazing how people can take a word or two and read into it what they want huh?
Am I wrong, didn't Alex Baldwin say he would leave the country if Bush won? Did he, of course not, and we all know Rush didn't mean he would leave for good. You heard it right, many have said they would go to Costa Rica for medical care...
