I suppose the Progressives would rather history just be ignored completely?
Well, excepting the revisionist part.

You saying that is almost to the point of hilarity. Apparently you don't see your own irony in this.

Ahh come on now, we all like a bump of oxy now and then. Why should you judge him for a little vice? People on both sides partake in less than legal activities to enhance their life, move on.

Except Limbaugh loudly assailed drugs and those who use them quite regularly on air? Personally, as far as vices concern, I'm pretty live and let live. His hypocrisy is what is striking. Of course, who knows how much belief he has in the words that come out of his mouth.

I guess as a partaker in herb, I can take solice in the fact that he can never again with a straight face attack stoners.

He may try, but his advocacy against the good plant would probably help our cause if anything.

Since you asked, Napoleon wasn't murdered at Waterloo.

Having said that, I must agree that in this case Limbaugh did not cross any real lines. People like to use hyperbolic phrases like "cannibalism", "circular firing squad" and so on in reference to the opposite party, and I think this was an example of that, rather than anything more sinister.
