It was letting reagan sell us on not paying for what we are getting. Stagflation in the 1970's was he economy running into the limets imposed by the controls set up by FDR to prevent another Great Depression. We should've had a little teeny tiny depression then and we wouldn't be in this mess now.

There can only be one solution, and we all know what that is.
Scrap the entire system and start over again, the situation is critical now, and it's not going to improve if everyone sits on their hands.
The system worked fine, until the Progressives got a hold of the Constitution at the turn of the last Century and used it for ass wipe.
They changed it to what you see today... A complete mess.
