We've gone in there before for worse reasons. This seems like it would be a pretty good one. Probably makes more sense than sending them into Afghanistan.

They sell more than pot and we're not going to legalize harder drugs. How will you feel when they come across and start kidnapping and killing innocent Americans?

You mean like in 1916 when Pershing invaded Mexico looking for Pancho Villa which resulted in Villas attacks on American cities? The one where Pershing was totally unable to lay a hand on Villa? Is that what you are talking about?

Yes if it would work but it won't. The drug lords offer so much money the military cannot compete. Many military families are in dire financial straits. It would be too tempting for some military men and women to go for the money.
