"My fellow African-Americans: I address you as both the President of the United States, and as black leader with a serious commitment to the advancement of the African-American community. Given that roughly one-quarter of my political support in the 2008 election came from African-Americans, I owe it to my community to specifically address the concerns of people of color. No longer will you give me a dollar's worth of loyalty in exchange for a nickel's worth of attention. Your issues are now on the table."
I know the article was just a little fantasy from the writer, but it's a shame that there's even a need to think of blacks as living in a separate nation. Unfortunately, I think it's going to be that way for a long time to come.

There was once a conspiracy theory (way back when) that HIV was designed in a lab to wipe out homosexuals. Forget where I read that. I know it has been wiping out a large swath of Africa. Wonder why it is wiping out so many African Americans?

I believe that you know we know why. That is one damn thing they have done right, and for good REASONS. And we do know what those reasons are.
