That, along with a rule that birth on our soil only confers U.S. citizenship if the parents are citizens.
If we were to establish that rule, I think it would stop a lot of illegal immigration if we took away the freebies. I do not feel that legal immigrants should be entitled to food stamps or welfare either. If they cannot make it here without government assistance, then they should go back home.

People that move here pay taxes too. If a legal immigrant moves here and works for 10 years and becomes disabled they should have as much a right to benefits was people that were born here. Otherwise don't tax them.
