Bank paid government $1.44 billion in dividends since company took funds
NEW YORK - Wells Fargo & Co, the fourth-largest U.S. bank by assets, on Wednesday said it repaid the $25 billion government bailout it received during the financial crisis, after last week selling $12.25 billion in stock.
I think 1.4 billion profit from this loan pays for the WH Christmas decoration, the WH dinner and fuel for Air Force-1. I have noticed that many posters are deeply concerned about those expenses.
Just in time to pay off those year end pesky bonuses. Bank of America and Citigroup also made good on debt earlier this month. Something fishy is going on out there.
