That is so very true and unbelievable.

What is in that bill is very worrisome to me. Just tonight I got an e-mail from an old retired Constitutional lawyer, and he was that because I checked on him, who says that the Constitution is dead if this thing is passed and allowed to go through by the Supreme Court. He sees about the same things I see and he read the House bill and I didn't read near all of it.

The saddest part of all this is that so many who are so for it will be against it when they learn what it is all about and find that there is little, if any, way we can ever get out from under it.

So many people were taken in by Saint Barack of Hopenchange during the campaign, voted for him, and not wonder why they allowed themselves to be roped in. The problem is that in elections there are never do overs and we are stuck with him and the socialist program he wants to establish.

Nope, "these kids" don't believe you, that's for sure. And neither some of us actual adults.

I don't mind what dsclcd said. But when you call other people stupid and resort to name calling like how he/she did, I do not like to debate them or even bother. Theres an mature adult you can be among by the way.
All well and good. I kind of like to read you and hope I have never called you anything worse than lib or prog. I try not to use many other words like one I have seen too many times today, liar.

Yeah. I like to talk to you too. You can be interesting. I do not like when people call me a "*******" or stupid because I know right away that they have no intention of debating. Just putting me down.

Did you ever get my post about all those languages and the Indian dish guy? LMAO!

Health care for all is about where we are right now. We don't need to turn it over to the federal government to get there. With all the programs we have now I don't know who isn't covered but surely there must be some.

The bill that Harry is sitting on now is aimed at getting government control of health care and nothing else. They make it appear that it is something it is not and all of a sudden it gets passed and then people learn what it actually is, but how do we escape it? McCain would have been a veto and that is the only reason I voted for him.

Why should we take $60 billion from Medicare every year for the next 10 years when we could clean up the corruption in it that Obama talks about and make that much the first year? Then the second year it wouldn't be needful for all that corruption and so on. Why must we take that money and raise all kinds of taxes when the goodies wouldn't start coming until 2013. We pay in money for four years and then things get going. Only an absolute fool would believe that any of that money will be going into a fund for the beginning date. Look at what the government did with Social Security taxes.

LOL. You don't have to be privy to a health care bill to have some sort of an idea of what it could mean. Let's think about that. Do you really want to bet your health and a huge part of our economy on a guess? An assumption? A maybe? A "hope it ok man"?

Really? I mean, really! It doesn't ever cross your mind why oh why the Democrats have the bill under lock and key? It doesn't ever cross your mind what do they have to hide? Why do they need to hide it

Your generation will destroy this country.

Well yes, there must have been things in the past that people weren't too sure about & they came up just fine. I'm not sure what generation you think I'm in...if it's the over 30, then yes, you're corrrect & so will the generations before us. I hope the ones younger than us grab a clue before it's too late.

To be accurate he should have had 100 elves where 17 didn't have health care. Of those 17, 7 aren't even suppose to be there legally. Of the remaining 10, 3 could afford it but they opted out. Of the remaining 7, 3 are eligible for public assistance. The remaining 4 out of all 100 need help and should be able to find something. However they all can still walk in to any northern pole hospital and receive attention, so for any of those that "die" because they couldn't afford health care it boils down to just being complacent and not being proactive enough about their health.

He does have one thing right though, he was thinking about how to make this collage as cheap as possible which isn't such a bad thing.

Well I'll tell you what. I used to be a bleeding-heart, tree hugging sheet sprinkler myself when I was young. The liberal platitudes sound GREAT! The liberal platitudes are hard to disagree with. Everyone is equal! We are obligated to take care of the least among us! Free health care for everyone! Everyone who wants a job should be guaranteed a job! There should be a guaranteed national minimum income!

Then reality slapped me right upside my head. Hey! Guess what? Everyone is not equal! Hey, where is the money going to come from for the free lunch?

If you are under 30 and you're not a liberal, you don't have a heart. If you are over 40 and you're not a conservative, you don't have a brain.

When you're young you can afford to be liberal. You don't have much income but you don't have much responsibilty. I mean this wasn't even your friends house. It was his parents house. He probably doesn't even have a house. He probably didn't even pay for the decorations. He probably isn't even responsible for supporting himself yet.

Enjoy your liberal days while you can, my friend. Reality is lurking right around the corner and will come much too soon.

I don't think many have said they do not care what the younger generation has to say, quite the contrary, most do care and take it seriously. What many feel is the younger generation doesn't have the life experience to know what the country and world is all about. We do listen and we do take note, but statements like, The future of this nature belongs to us, again is a self centered statement that I would like to think you didn't mean it the way it sounds. The future is yourse, but the present is ours as well as yours.
